With their loss to the Duke Blue Devils in the second round of the 2011 ACC Tournament Friday night, the Maryland Terrapins were knocked out of NCAA Tournament competition.
↵Don't give up on the Terps, though. They'll be back.
↵The core of this team remains very young. While Maryland will be losing several quality role players in seniors Adrian Bowie, Cliff Tucker, and Dino Gregory, we can safely expect some of the younger players currently on the roster like Pe'Shon Howard and James Padgett to continue to improve and step up more next year.
↵Also, the Terrapins expect a strong recruiting class to come on board and give Jordan Williams and Terrell Stoglin some additional help. German forward Martin Breunig recently committed and has already drawn comparisons to Kyle Singler. Breunig joins an already significant class that includes Nick Faust, a 6'-6" swingman from Baltimore who was ranked No. 25 by ESPN, and former USA U-16 point guard Sterling Gibbs.
↵Maryland's going to be fine. But losing to Duke for the third time this season still sucks.
