New Maryland Football Uniforms By Under Armour To Be Unveiled Monday Night

Maryland football and Under Armour will team up to unveil new uniforms in a fashion-show style event on Monday night.

It's finally here. The new Maryland football uniforms, which have been teased for several months, will finally be unveiled on Monday night by the team and by Under Armour, who is manufacturing the jerseys. Fans interested in seeing the new look can check in live on TerpsTV at 7:30 p.m.

Maryland's new look has been rumored for a while, and it is expected to feature a number of quirks. Most notably, coach Randy Edsall has mandated that the jerseys not list the player names on the back. This is a radical departure for Maryland, who ironically was the first school to put player names on the back of their jerseys. Edsall is hoping to foster a culture where the program is bigger than any one person.

The event on Monday night is a fashion-show style event, with Edsall and many of the Terps' star players showing.
