West Virginia Vs. Maryland Score: Danny O'Brien Intercepted For Touchdown, Terps Trail 14-3 Early

Maryland football has gotten off to a really bad start against West Virginia in its showdown game on Saturday. Quarterback Danny O'Brien made a poor throw that was intercepted by Terence Gavin and returned 37 yards for a touchdown to give the Mountaineers an early 14-3 lead.

The Mountaineers have had no trouble on offense either. They drove the ball down the field on the very first drive, but Maryland was able to force and recover a fumble. Maryland drove down the field from there, but had to settle for a field goal. On the ensuing possession, West Virginia benefited from a pass interference call on Cameron Chism and got a nine-yard touchdown run by Vernard Roberts.

The Terps have been unable to move the ball consistently outside of that drive after the fumble.
