Week 3 ACC Football Scores: Florida State Falls To Top-Ranked Oklahoma At Home

An eventful afternoon in the ACC turned into an equally eventful night when No. 5 Florida State welcomed top-ranked Oklahoma to Tallahassee. In the end, though, Oklahoma proved they were the better team, grinding down the Seminoles to win, 23-13. Here are all your night ACC football scores:

No. 1 Oklahoma 23, No. 5 Florida State 13: This game was tight throughout, but that was until Landry Jones found Kenny Stills for a looping 37-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to give the Sooners a two-score lead. Miami 24, No. 17 Ohio State 6: Funny how good Miami looks when they get all their players back. Jacory Harris, back after a one-game suspension, threw two first-quarter touchdowns, and Lamar Miller rushed for 188 yards in Miami's easy victory. Wake Forest 48, Gardner-Webb 5: No surprises here. For more on the Demon Deacons, visit Blogger So Dear.

North Carolina State 35, South Alabama 13: Once again, no surprises here. For more on the Wolfpack, visit Backing the Pack.

No. 13 Virginia Tech 26, Arkansas State 7: More non-surprising news. For more on the Hokies, visit Gobbler Country.

North Carolina 28, Virginia 17: The Tar Heels remain undefeated thanks in large part to Virginia's inability to capitalize on scoring chances. Both teams moved the ball well, but North Carolina scored touchdowns when Virginia couldn't. That was the difference. For more on Virginia, visit Streaking the Lawn.
