College Football Schedule: Florida State Vs. Clemson Highlights ACC Slate

A couple huge conference games highlight the ACC football slate for this Saturday.

This week's college football schedule features a number of big ACC games, with two in particular standing out. Both games will likely be crucial in determining season-ending positioning and bowl status in the conference. Here is the full ACC football schedule for Saturday.

North Carolina (3-0) at No. 25 Georgia Tech (3-0): Two undefeated teams do battle in a huge game that also marks the ACC opener for Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets surged into the Top 25 after scoring 500 points (actually, just 66) against Kansas last weekend. North Carolina, though, is a much tougher test. (Noon, ESPN). Temple (2-1) vs. Maryland (1-1): For more on this game, visit this StoryStream. (12:30 p.m., ESPN3).

UMass (2-0) vs. Boston College (0-3): BC can't be this bad to lose this game, right? (1 p.m., ESPN3). For more on Boston College, visit BC Interruption and SB Nation Boston.

No. 11 Florida State (2-1) vs. No. 21 Clemson (3-0): This is the big game of the afternoon. The Seminoles need to bounce back from last week's home loss to Oklahoma, and they have lost four straight to Clemson in Death Valley. Making matters worse, quarterback EJ Manuel may not play with a shoulder injury. This is a big chance for Clemson to capitalize and go 4-0. (3:30 p.m., ESPN). Tulane (2-1) vs. Duke (1-2): Whatever. (3:30 p.m., ESPN3)

No. 13 Virginia Tech (3-0) vs. Marshall (1-2): Did you know the Hokies haven't started 4-0 since 2006? I sure didn't. (3:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network). For more on the Hokies, visit Gobbler Country.

Kansas State (2-0) vs. Miami (1-1): Miami looked awfully impressive in their first week with all their suspended players, as they routed Ohio State. Kansas State is undefeated, but hasn't beaten anyone good. I think we know how this will end. (3:30 p.m., ESPNU) For more on Miami, visit 7th Floor Blog. For more on Kansas State, visit Bring on the Cats and SB Nation Kansas City.

Southern Mississippi (2-1) vs. Virginia (2-1): This game is more notable for who is in the announcing booth than the players on the field. (3:30 p.m., ESPN3). For more on Virginia, visit Streaking the Lawn.
