Here's some good news for Maryland football fans still smarting from the 38-7 loss to Temple on Saturday: changes are coming to the lineup. Well, at least some of them. Patrick Stevens of the Washington Times reports several changes to the official Terps depth chart for the week. Among them:
↵- ↵
- Quintin McCree is back in Maryland's depth chart at wide receiver after being suspended for two games. Ronnie Tyler, the other suspended player, is not starting. Kerry Boykins is off the depth chart completely. ↵
- Redshirt freshman Titus Till is a new starting safety. ↵
- Maurice Hampton is the second starter at defensive tackle, with A.J. Francis now a backup. ↵
- Lorne Goree is starting for injured Darin Drakeford at middle linebacker. ↵
All in all, seven of the 22 players listed on defense are true freshmen. I guess coach Randy Edsall is already ready to see what some of the newcomers can do in next week's game against Towson.
