At long last, Maryland football will begin the Randy Edsall era on Monday against ACC rival Miami in a highly-anticipated season opener filled with major storylines. At first, the big story surrounded the debuts of Edsall and new Miami football coach Al Golden. Now, in the wake of the Nevad Shapiro scandal, the focus is squarely on the Hurricanes as they try to recover from one of the most dramatic NCAA scandals of all time.
