Miami Vs. Maryland: Isaiah Ross Carted Off Field After Apparent Leg Injury

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapins may have suffered their first serious injury of the 2011 season. Junior defensive lineman Isaiah Ross suffered an apparent leg injury in the third quarter of their game against Miami. He was able to hobble off the field, but after going to the sideline, he was put onto a cart and taken back into the locker room. As of npw, there has been no announcement about the nature or severity of the injury.

Ross was on the opposite side of the play when his injury occurred and remained on the field for several moments after the whistle. The Terps don't have a ton of depth on the defensive line, so this could prove to be a pretty big blow if the injury is serious. They were already having enough trouble stopping the Miami rushing attack.

We will keep you posted as soon as any news becomes readily available.
