Georgia Tech Vs. Maryland Score Update: With Terrell Stoglin In Starting Lineup, Terps Take 24-19 Halftime Lead

Looking to improve to 2-1 in conference play, the Maryland Terrapins lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 24-19 after one half at Comcast Center. It was a plodding first half devoid of much offensive prowess, as first year coaches Brian Gregory and Mark Turgeon face off in College Park. Both teams are shooting below 26 percent from the field. A thunderous breakaway dunk by Nick Faust gave Maryland its largest lead of the half, finishing on a 6-0 run over the final four plus minutes.

Terrell Stoglin, averaging 21.3 points per game but dealing with persistent back issues, was a last minute addition to the Terrapins' starting lineup. Stoglin leads Maryland with seven points through the first twenty minutes. Forward James Padget was the second leading scorer for the Terps. He finished with six points and was a perfect four for four from the charity stripe, where he's shooting 57 percent this season.

Glenn Rice Jr., who's lit up the ACC in the Jackets first two games, was held to just two points as Sean Mosley locked down Tech wing.
