The Maryland Terrapins welcomed in the Virginia Tech Hokies hoping to pull to .500 in ACC play and hoping to wipe out a three-game losing streak. Bouncing back from their loss to Duke, the Terps jumped all over the Hokies in the first half. At halftime, Maryland holds a 32-19 win over Virginia Tech on the heels of a total team effort. The Terps leading scorer in the first half is Terrell Stoglin with seven points, but both Sean Mosley and Ashton Pankey picked up six points each.
For the Hokies, Erick Green leads the way with eight points and two rebounds as the Hokies offense struggled to sink baskets. As a team, Virginia Tech shot just two of eight from three-point range and just 6 of 25 from the floor. If Virginia Tech wants to stop the bleeding, they're going to have to start putting the ball in the basket and slowing down the Terps offense.
