Andrew and Aaron Harrison, twin blue-chip basketball recruits from Travis High School in Richmond, Texas, have chosen to play college ball for head coach John Calipari and the University of Kentucky, the pair announced on Thursday. The University of Maryland and Larry Brown's SMU were considered to be the runners-up for the brothers.

The twins are the prizes of the 2013 recruiting class. Aaron is listed as the No. 1 shooting guard and a five-star prospect on ESPN, Rivals and Scout. He is the No. 3 overall prospect on Scout and Rivals and the No. 4 overall on ESPN.

Andrew is the top point guard for 2013, according to the three major recruiting services. He is the No. 2 overall prospect on Scout and ESPN. Rivals lists him as No. 4 overall.

Both are listed at 6'5, 210 pounds and could immediately become top players in college basketball. Calipari has won a number of recruiting battles for the nation's top high school athletes throughout his career, and he continues to be one of the game's elite recruiters.
