The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles can clinch the ACC Atlantic Division championship with a win on Saturday in College Park against the Maryland Terrapins.
The Seminoles are 9-1 on the season and tied with Clemson at 6-1 in the ACC. Florida State, however, owns the tie-breaker over the Tigers, so if both teams end up with the same record, it would be Florida State who is awarded the division crown.
Maryland, on the other hand, isn't quite close to playing for a conference title, but the Terrapins are still hoping for a bowl bid. In order for them to reach the required six wins to qualify for a bowl, they must beat Florida State and North Carolina to conclude the regular season.
Natural linebacker and freshman Shawn Petty will start at quarterback for an injury-plagued Maryland team, trying to guide them to a huge upset. He'll have to out-duel Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel, who has thrown 19 touchdowns this season, compared to just five interceptions.
Game time, TV channel: 12:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU
Online streaming video: ESPN3
Point spread: Florida State is favored by 31 points
