The Maryland Terrapins travel to Chapel Hill, NC Saturday looking to end their season on a high note against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
At 4-7 overall and 2-5 in conference play, Maryland's season has certainly been a disappointment. The Terrapins started 4-2 but are currently in the midst of a five-game losing streak. Their last win came against the Virginia Cavaliers on Oct. 13. They officially lost their chance at a bowl berth last Saturday with a 41-14 loss to No. 10 Florida State.
North Carolina has also sputtered down the stretch, although nothing near as drastic as the Terrapins' skid. The Tar Heels have lost two of their last four games, dropping their record to 7-4, 4-3 in conference play, after a 5-2 start. Quarterback Bryn Renner leads the way for the Tar Heels offense with season totals of 3,051 yards and 23 touchdowns.
