The Maryland Terrapins host the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday night as they continue their non-conference schedule. The Terps are coming off an 83-74 victory over Lafayette on Tuesday and are looking go undefeated on this four-game homestand.
Maryland is 4-1 on the year, with the only loss coming in Brooklyn against No. 3 Kentucky. The Terps are led by sophomore Alex Len. The 7-footer is shooting 55 percent from the field and is blocking nearly 10 percent of opponents' two-point attempts while he is on the floor. Len has also been very efficient from the free throw line for a man of his size, hitting 80 percent of his attempts thus far.
The Eagles will rely on 6'7 Eric Ferguson. The junior does a lot of damage on the glass, grabbing over 24 percent of defensive rebounds and over 11 percent of offensive boards. He has struggled taking care of the ball and makes less than half of his two-pointers.
Game time, TV schedule: 7 p.m. ET, ESPN3
