George Mason vs. Maryland: Game time, TV schedule and more

Maryland and George Mason face off in the 18th annual BB&T Classic at the Verizon Center (2:30 p.m. ET on MASN).

The annual BB&T Classic tips-off Sunday at the Verizon Center, and the Maryland Terrapins and George Mason Patriots will meet in the second game of a double header (2:30 p.m. ET on MASN).

Maryland (5-1) is looking for its fifth straight victory, the latest coming Tuesday against the Northwestern Wildcats, 77-57.

The Terrapins are using their roster depth and rebounding to their advantage. Currently, Maryland has nine player averaging double-figure in playing minutes and have an Atlantic Coast Conference-best plus-17.3 rebounding margin.

Sophomore center Alex Len is pacing the Terrapins in scoring (15.2 point per game), rebounding (9.0 per game) and blocks (2.5 per game). Junior guard Pe'Shon Howard is Maryland's floor general, he leads the team with 6.8 assists per game.

Meanwhile, George Mason (5-2) is looking for its first ever victory over Maryland. All-time the Terrapins are 7-0 against the Patriots, who are on a three-game winning streak.

George Mason is coming off a 55-52 road victory over the Rhode Island Rams on Tuesday. Sophomore Erik Copes collected a collegiate-best 11 rebounds and added nine points. Redshirt junior Sherrod Wright paced the Patriots in scoring with 14 points.
