Maryland Football Recruiting: Wes Brown Leads Class, But Terps Looking For More

As National Signing Day officially approaches the Maryland Terrapins are hoping to pull in two four-star recruits. One of the recruits is a local player in four-star running back Wes Brown from Olney, Md out of Our Lady Of Good Counsel. Brown committed in early January, but it won't be made official until signing day. Brown is rated as the No. 14 running back of the 2012 recruiting class.

The Terps are also hoping to land four-star linebacker Abner Logan from Brookline, MA out of Dexter High School. Logan is ranked as the No. 24 ranked linebacker in the country and the No. 3 player from the state of Massachusetts. The Terps are also pursuing hometown five-star defensive tackle Eddie Goldman in the hopes to pull a coup, but as it stands, that looks unlikely. They remain in the mix for top wide receiver recruit Stefon Diggs, who will not announce on signing day.
