Maryland Football Recruiting: Terps Officially Announce 24 Commitments On National Signing Day 2012

Maryland football has officially announced 24 commitments on National Signing Day 2012, 20 of which have faxed letters of intent already in. The Terps' class is headlined by four-star running back Wes Brown, a Good Counsel product that switched his commitment to Maryland at the Under Armour Game earlier in the month.

Brown is one of several four-star recruits signed by the Terps. The others include Friendship Collegiate running back Albert Reid, Massachusetts linebacker Abner Logan, Good Counsel offensive lineman Mike Madaris and Atlanta offensive lineman Nick Brigham. A complete list of all of Maryland's recruits can be found here.

The Terps did miss out on a number of recruits, including North Carolina offensive lineman D.J. Reader, who went to Clemson. Top in-state recruits Eddie Goldman and Ronald Darby both went to Florida State. Five-star athlete Stefon Diggs of Good Counsel did not make a decision and is making an official visit to Maryland over the weekend.

The Terps' class is ranked No. 7 in the ACC and No. 43 overall as of now, according to Scout.com.
