ACC Football Schedule Released: Maryland Opens Conference Play Against Wake Forest

The ACC Schedule was released earlier Monday afternoon and the Maryland Terrapins host their conference opener on Oct. 6 against Wake Forest. Other notable games for the Terps include a Sept. 15 home game against Connecticut -- head coach Randy Edsall's former team-- and a Sept. 22 game at West Virginia.

The defending ACC Champion Virginia Tech Hokies open their season Monday Sept. 3 in Blacksburg, VA against Georgia Tech. The Hokies also play in a neutral site game against the Cincinnati Bearcats at FedEx Field on Sept. 29.

The Viriginia Cavaliers have a pair of non-conference games that could help them raise their profile. On Sept. 8 the Cavaliers host the Penn State Nittany Lions in Charlottesville. On Sept. 22 they travel to Fort Worth, Texas to play the TCU Horned Frogs.
