Citing a source close to Stefon Diggs, Josh Barr of the Washington Post is reporting that the Maryland high school star will announce on Friday that he will play for the Maryland Terrapins. Diggs was going to announce his decision live on Comcast SportsNet, but has since backed out of that arrangement. Diggs is a five-star recruit and is widely regarded as one of the best wide receivers in the country. He made his official visit to Maryland on Saturday.
Diggs is also considering Auburn, Florida and Ohio State. Most seem to believe it's down to Maryland or the Buckeyes, and though no one else has a report similar to Barr's, there are some in the know who are backing him up. Mike Farrell of Rivals.com speculated earlier today that Diggs will commit to Maryland.
