2012 NCAA Women's Tournament, Maryland Vs. Texas A&M Score Update: Aggies Lead 44-41 At Halftime

The Maryland Terrapins have weathered an early storm to remain within striking distance of the Texas A&M Aggies although they still trail 44-41 at halftime.

Texas A&M stormed out the gate with a 12-2 run to start the game. The Aggies are shooting 51.4 percent from the field and a ridiculous 71.4 percent from behind the arc. Maryland fought back, going on a 13-4 run to end the half. The Terps have been able to get back in the game using their size on the glass, as they hold a 20-9 rebounding advantage.

Alyssa Thomas leads the Terrapins with 13 points and 4 rebounds. Tianna Hawkins has also been impressive, adding 12 points while shooting 4-of-6 from the floor.

For the Aggies, Alexia Standish has a team-high 12 points while Skylar Collins has added 10 points while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the field.
