ACC Basketball Standings 2012: Maryland Finishes Eighth, UNC Wins Regular Season Title

The Maryland Terrapins finished the season going 6-10 in the ACC and finishing up in eighth place.

The ACC regular season and the ACC Tournament kicks off later in the week. The Maryland Terrapins finished up the regular season with a loss to Virginia in overtime and on a three-game losing streak and losing five of their last seven games. The Terps earned a No. 8 seed in the tournament. Maryland finished the season with a 6-10 record in the ACC and losing quite a few close conference games.

The North Carolina Tar Heels picked up the regular season conference title with their dominant win over the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday. Below is the final standings for the ACC.
