All-ACC Teams Announced, Mike Scott Earns First Team Honors, Terrell Stoglin And Erick Green Second Team

The ACC Men's Basketball tournament is set to start on Thursday afternoon. Monday afternoon, the ACC announced its all-conference teams. While no one from Maryland earned All-ACC First Team recognition, two players from the Commonwealth of Virginia picked up the honors.

Virginia forward Mike Scott is the lone player on the first team not from Duke or North Caroina. His stats, 17.9 points per game on 57.3 percent shooting with 8.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, are certainly worthy to put him in the company of Carolina's Tyler Zeller, John Henson and Harrison Barnes and Duke's Austin Rivers.

Virginia Tech guard Erick Green earned a spot on the Second Team through a season where he scored 15.3 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game. He was joined by Maryland's Terrell Stoglin, who led the league with 21.2 points per game and also chipped in 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
