The Maryland Terrapins and the North Carolina Tar Heels are facing off in the second round of the of ACC Tournament. The Tar Heels jumped out to an early double-digit lead, but forward John Henson injured either his wrist or his hand going up for a bucked. Henson was fouled going to the basket, shot his free throws, but then left for the locker room for a bit before coming back to the court. At halftime however, the Terps find themselves trailing 36-26.
Maryland went down by double-digits early to the Tar Heels, but were able to battle back to get within two scores, but once again let the game get away from them a little bit. Once again Terrell Stoglin's play is keeping the Terps close in the game, as he leads the team at halftime with 13 points. Guard Nick Faust has also had a nice half, picking up seven points and one key block.
For the Tar Heels, Henson picked up seven points and three rebounds before going down with his injury. In Henson's spot in the first half, James McAdoo picked it up off the bench with four points. Henson's status in the second half is still up in the air, as he went on the court and was immediately put back on the bench by head coach Roy Williams.
