Maryland Recruiting: Three-Star Quarterback/Safety Commits

Milan Collins, a 6-foot-2 quarterback from Bishop McNamara High School, has committed to Maryland over Boston College, Syracuse and West Virginia, among other programs, according to InsideMDSports.com.

The Forestville, Md., is listed as a three-star by Yahoo! Sports' Rivals.com, as well as 247Sports.com. He also plays safety, and as of a month ago, was expected to play on the defensive side for the Terps but that still could change.

Collins is the Terrapins' 11th commit for the class of 2013 and the seventh in the last two weeks. He is currently listed as the No. 28 dual-threat quarterback and No. 22 player in the state, per 247Sports. And via Rivals, his 40-yard dash time stood at 4.53 seconds.
