<p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/george-washington-colonials">George Washington Colonials</a> were hoping to avoid dropping back-to-back games and another losing streak, but their second half rally against the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/fordham-rams">Fordham Rams</a> fell just short. George Washington trailed 31-24 at halftime, but were able to go on a run and rally back in the second half to tie the game. Fordham held on for the 63-58 victory however. George Washington was able to outscore Fordham in the second half, but it was just too little too late.</p>
<p><a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/52270/tony-taylor">Tony Taylor</a> led the way in the second half for George Washington and picked up 17 points in the game, including seven assists. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123576/nemanja-mikic">Nemanja Mikic</a> picked up 12 points and seven rebounds while <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99755/lasan-kromah">Lasan Kromah</a> picked up another 13 points and four rebounds in the loss. For Fordham, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123545/branden-frazier">Branden Frazier</a> put down 20 points while hitting four of his seven three-point shots. Forward <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99750/chris-gaston">Chris Gaston</a> was also able to add 16 points for Fordham off the bench.</p>

<p>George Washington is trying to avoid another losing streak against Fordham, but they trail at halftime 31-24.</p> <p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/george-washington-colonials">George Washington Colonials</a> are coming off a loss to La Salle and are trying to avoid another losing streak as they take on the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/fordham-rams">Fordham Rams</a>. At halftime however, George Washington trails Fordham 31-24 trailing the entire first half. Both team's offenses started out slowly, struggling to break double digits through nearly the first ten minutes of play. The offenses got going however and Fordham was able to jump out to an early lead and hold it up until halftime thanks to 12 points from <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123545/branden-frazier">Branden Frazier</a> and another 10 points by <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123549/kervin-bristol">Kervin Bristol</a>.</p>
<p>For the Colonials, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99752/dwayne-smith">Dwayne Smith</a> was able to pick up seven points in the first half while <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/123576/nemanja-mikic">Nemanja Mikic</a> added another six points, including three rebounds and three assists. Currently however, George Washington isn't getting much help from their bench with zero points. The Colonials are also being out rebounded at the half 20-8.</p>
