The Washington Wizards trailed the Indiana Pacers by just three points at halftime and were hoping a second half rally would be able to put them over the Indiana Pacers to pick up their 12th win of the season, but their run fell just short in the final minute as the Pacers held on to win 93-89. The Wiz struggled to slow down Danny Granger, who finished up the evening with 25 points and 7 rebounds.

For the Wiz, newly acquired center Nene picked up a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds while Jordan Crawford led the team in scoring with 20 points. John Wall finished up the game with 13 points and just 2 assists. The Wiz struggled from the three-point line in the game, hitting on just 31.8 percent of their shots.

The Washington Wizards trailed the Indiana Pacers after the first quarter of play and the Pacers started to build a lead, but the Wizards made a late rally in the second quarter to keep the game close as both sides went to the locker rooms for halftime. The Wiz were able to out rebound the Pacers in the first half, but they also turned the ball over more than twice as many times.

In the first half the Wiz spread the ball around with John Wall and Chris Singleton leading the way in scoring with eight points each while Jordan Crawford added seven points. Meanwhile for the Pacers, the Wiz have had trouble stopping Danny Granger, who's picked up 18 points already while David West and George Hill have each added 10 points. If the Wiz can slow Granger down and start to hit some of their three-point shots, they can get right back into the game.

The last time the Indiana Pacers played a very bad team, they didn't fare so well. They got inexplicably creamed by the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night, two days after they beat the Miami Heat. On Thursday, they play another very bad team in the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have lost four straight games and have not scored 100 points in any of those games.

On Monday night, they managed just 77 points against the Detroit Pistons. At 11-38, the best thing that can happen to the Wizards is to land another one of John Calipari's franchise saviors. But hey, playing playoff spoiler is a fun time too!

The Washington Wizards are in Indianapolis on Thursday looking to avenge a comeback loss that they suffered just a week ago.

The Washington Wizards are back out on the road on Thursday. They'll face the Indiana Pacers in Indy, and they might be looking for some revenge. The game starts at 7 and can be seen on TCN.

If this game looks familiar on the schedule, it's because the Wizards just hosted the Pacers at their place a week ago today. In case you had blocked it out of your memory, that was the game where the Wizards blew a 22-point lead and lost to the Pacers 85-83. The Wizards tilt a huge lead in the first and second quarters, then watched as it slowly disappeared for the rest of the game. Hopefully that left a bad taste in their mouth and they come out motivated against the Pacers on Thursday.
