Goaltender Semyon Varlamov's appearances at Kettler Capitals Iceplex have been few and far between as of late. The oft-injured goalie was the only Capital missing from practice today. And via CSN's Corey Masisak, it could be another week before we see Varlamov back on the ice.
Boudreau said Semyon Varlamov is likely to skate tomorrow and hopes he will be ready in a week to 10 days for the #Caps.
Varlamov has one start to his name this season, that coming in a 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins October 21. Masisak also mentioned that according to head coach Bruce Boudreau, Varlamov has not skated in nine days.
In other injury news, Marcus Johansson was on the ice practicing, but is still wearing the yellow (i.e. injured) jersey. Tom Poti also participated in practice, but left early.
