Canucks Vs. Capitals: Semyon Varlamov Will Start, Alexander Semin Remains Out

We're just minutes away from a significant game between two of the best and streakiest teams in the NHL, and the lineups are ready for your viewing.

Semyon Varlamov will start in goal once again for the Capitals and he'll try to do what Henrik Lundqvist did last night for the Rangers - shut out Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, and the rest of the Vancouver Canucks. The Capitals will be going against the excellent Roberto Luongo in Vancouver's net, who is currently sporting a 13-1-2 record.

The downside for the Capitals though is that Alexander Semin remains out with a hip injury that he suffered against the Florida Panthers last week. Semin was thought to likely miss at least two games. Well this is the third.

The rest of Washington's lineup, according to the Capitals Insider is as follows:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Fehr
Laich-Johansson-Knuble
Chimera-Perreault-Beagle
Hendricks-Steckel-Gordon

Defense
Hannan-Green
Alzner-Carlson
Erskine-Schultz
