Let's be honest: the true breakout star of the amazing HBO 24/7 series featuring the Penguins and Capitals was Washington coach Bruce Boudreau. In the series' first episode, Boudreau launched into one of the best coaching tirades of all time, dropping 15 F-bombs in a second-period speech to his time. He also had a ketchup stain on his face, which was epic. In episode 2, he complained about the media, and it was brilliant. In episode 3, he stole the show at the end with his hilarious holiday shopping routine.
↵So, naturally, he also managed to steal the show in the final episode as well. In one of the coolest scenes of the episode, Boudreau had this to say when the Penguins stormed off the ice, refusing to shake hands.
↵↵↵"F*** them all, we'll go then."
↵
He then made that face, which was brilliant, and celebrated the victory with his drink of choice: a Bud Light Tallboy.
↵↵I can think of nothing else that makes more sense than that after getting an opportunity to really get to know Bruce Boudreau over the past couple of weeks.
