TV Schedule, October 22: Maryland Vs. Florida State, Red Wings Vs. Capitals

It's a big Saturday in Washington D.C., as several local teams are in action, many of whom have big, big games. Here is your complete Washington D.C. sports TV schedule for Saturday:

Maryland vs. Florida State: The Seminoles have struggled since being anointed one of the best teams in the country at the beginning of the season, but they're still Florida State, and they're still going to a bowl game this season. Maryland, on the other hand, pretty much needs a win to keep any hopes of a bowl alive. C.J. Brown, let's see what you got. (3:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN2). East Carolina vs. Navy: You probably didn't notice it, but Navy has lost four straight games and are in uncharted territory under Ken Niumatalolo. East Carolina at home should be a win, but the Pirates held tough against Virginia Tech earlier in the year and are definitely competitive. (3:30 p.m., CBS College Sports Network). Red Wings vs. Capitals: The Capitals passed the first of their two early-season tests with flying colors on Thursday in routing the Philadelphia Flyers. Now, the undefeated Red Wings come to Verizon Center to provide the most marquee matchup of the early NHL season. (7 p.m., CSN, NHL Network). Sporting Kansas City vs. D.C. United: D.C. United's playoff hopes are dashed, but Dwayne De Rosario can still do something to help his MVP case. (7:30 p.m., Channel 8)
