The 2011 NHL Playoffs are just about a day away, so now is the time for you to place your bets; assuming you're into that kind of thing. I'm not sure how safe it is to bet on your favorite teams, but the Capitals have some pretty favorable odds this year, according to Bodog.
↵The Capitals are the odds on favorites to win the Eastern Conference at 9/4, with the Philadelphia Flyers right behind them at 4/1. When it gets to the Stanley Cup Finals, the Vancouver Canucks are the favorites to win the whole thing at 3/1. But the Capitals are a very close second at 11/2.The San Jose Sharks are third at 7/1 and the Flyers fourth at 8/1.
