Sports TV Schedule For April 2: 2011 Final Four, Nationals Vs. Braves And More

There are a lot of sporting events on television on Saturday, with the headliners being the two 2011 FInal Four games. VCU vs. Butler gets things started live from Houston, while Kentucky vs. UConn follows. Here is the TV schedule for Saturday, with the Final Four game times and more.

2011 Final Four

VCU vs. Butler, 6:09 p.m., CBS: Can Jamie Skeen, Joey Rodriguez and VCU continue their shocking run though the 2011 NCAA Tournament, or will the more experienced Bulldogs, led by Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack, return to the NCAA championship game for the second straight season?

Kentucky vs. UConn, about 8:49 p.m., CBS: The second Final Four matchup pits two traditional powers that were both expected to have down years. Instead, Jim Calhoun and UConn rode Kemba Walker to this point, while John Calipari relied on another elite freshman class.

Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals, 1:05 p.m., MASN: The Nationals will look to generate some more offense in the second game of a three-game series. John Lannan will take the hill against Tommy Hanson

Buffalo Sabres vs. Washington Capitals, 7 p.m., CSN: The Capitals catch a break as Buffalo's all-world goalie Ryan Miller is injured and will not travel with the team. Washington is coming off a 4-3 win over Columbus on Thursday.

Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees, 4 p.m., FOX: A.J. Burnett takes the hill for the Yankees after an awful 2010 season. Brad Penny will oppose him.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays, 7:10 p.m., MASN: The Orioles got the 2011 season off on the right foot with a win in their opener on Friday. They'll go for the series win tonight, as Brian Matusz takes the hill against Tampa Bay's James Shields.
