The Internet is such where anyone can dub anything over something as iconic as the NHL's "History Will Be Made" advertising campaign, which inevitably leads to a lot of horribly stupid spin-offs. However, the Internet does occasionally leads to video brilliance. This spin-off of the campaign, set to Jason Chimera's game-winning goal in overtime of Game 4 of the Capitals vs. Rangers 2011 NHL Playoffs first-round series, is an example of that.
↵The video begins with the Rangers crowd chanting "Can You Hear Us" at Bruce Boudreau after his comments about Madison Square Garden. It then cycles into replay of the game-winning goal, with Steve Kolbe's dramatic "Miracle on 34th Street" call. The "History Will Be Red" is also a pretty nice touch at the end.
