VIDEO: Jason Chimera's 'History Will Be Made' Capitals Vs. Rangers Commercial

The Internet is such where anyone can dub anything over something as iconic as the NHL's "History Will Be Made" advertising campaign, which inevitably leads to a lot of horribly stupid spin-offs. However, the Internet does occasionally leads to video brilliance. This spin-off of the campaign, set to Jason Chimera's game-winning goal in overtime of Game 4 of the Capitals vs. Rangers 2011 NHL Playoffs first-round series, is an example of that.

The video begins with the Rangers crowd chanting "Can You Hear Us" at Bruce Boudreau after his comments about Madison Square Garden. It then cycles into replay of the game-winning goal, with Steve Kolbe's dramatic "Miracle on 34th Street" call. The "History Will Be Red" is also a pretty nice touch at the end.

The video was made by Max Duchiane for Russian Machine Never Breaks, and it's outstanding. I've probably watched it 10 times already, and I'm going back for more on my lunch break. You should too.
