VIDEO: Capitals Fans Chant 'We Are Louder' During 2011 NHL Playoffs Game 5

I think we can now put the Madison Square Garden controversy to rest. After New York Rangers fans chanted "Can You Hear Us?" during Game 4 in response to Bruce Boudreau's comments about MSG, Capitals fans responded with "We Are Louder" during Game 5. I think anyone participating in this 2011 NHL Playoffs game would agree.

Capitals fans have really been on their game Saturday afternoon. Not only were they loud enough for everyone on the ice to hear them, but they also chanted "Avery Sucks" after notorious Rangers enforcer Sean Avery got into it with one of the Capitals' players. Madison Square Garden may be an arena with a lot of history, but in 2011, there's no doubt that the Verizon Center is the better venue. It's louder, more state-of-the-art, filled with better fans and seemingly looks like it hosts the better team.
