Friday, April 29 will go down as one of the most active nights in the Washington D.C. 2011 sports calendar year. Four of the five professional teams are in action in some way, shape or form. The Redskins will be involved in the second and third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. The Capitals will begin their second-round 2011 NHL Playoffs series against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Verizon Center. The Nationals will welcome the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants to Nationals Park. Finally, D.C. United hits the road for a huge game against the Houston Dynamo.
So, yeah, it's going to be a busy night. Here's where to watch each team in action.

Capitals vs. Lightning, Game 1: The Lightning have talked about how they are a huge underdog, even though they were just four points behind the Capitals in the Southeast Division standings. We'll find out if those mind games worked starting Friday. (7 p.m., Versus. Capitals Central is at 6:30 on Comcast SportsNet, but not the game)
Giants vs. Nationals: The Nationals' struggling offense gets to face Tim Lincecum. Sounds like the perfect antidote! (7:05 p.m., MASN)
D.C. United at Houston Dynamo: The Black and Red lost to New England in U.S. Open Cup qualifying on Monday. They'll need to pick it up to beat a tough Dynamo squad on the road. (8:30 p.m., FOX Soccer Channel)
