The Washington Capitals desperately need a win in Game 2 of their second-round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday night, so what better way of trying to rally up support then to post pictures of celebrities rocking the red. This is Snoop Dogg wearing an Alex Ovechkin jersey at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Quadmania festival held before finals every year.
↵The Capitals are a pretty hip team, and Snoop Dogg is still pretty hip, so it only makes sense for him to wear that jersey. He's also performing in Baltimore, which isn't quite Capitals country, but is getting closer and closer to being so. No word on whether this means Snoop is going to make an appearance in the Capitals locker room like fellow Ovi fan D.J. Pauly D did earlier this year. Here's hoping he does at some point.
