Washington Capitals Training Camp: Caps Make More Cuts, Release 13 Players

Via Mike Vogel, the Washington Capitals have made their third round of cuts of this year's training camp, cutting 13 players. Forwards Francois Bouchard, David de Kastrozza, Stanislav Galiev, Kyle Greentree, Boyd Kane, Maxime Lacroix, Graham Mink, Garrett Mitchell, Danick Paquette and defensemen Paul Baier, Zach Miskovic, Phil Oreskovic and Dustin Stevenson have all either been released or assigned to one of the Caps' minor league affiliates.

The Caps have now cut 24 players over the last few days. Tuesday, the Caps cut Samuel Henley, Luke Lockhart, Garrett Ross, James Oligny, Tyler Ludwig and Taylor Stefishen.

Washington's AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, opens training camp this weekend, so several players cut should take part.
