In DC, that means a virtual cornucopia of sporting even options as the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards will combine to play five games between Friday and Tuesday. The Wizards off the best bargain, with games on Saturday and Monday in which tickets can be had for as little as $5. On Saturday, that's a chance to see the Wizards play the the Philadelphia 76ers. On MLK Day itself, the Wizards will play the Houston Rockets.
The Capitals games aren't as good of a bargain, but they might make for more interesting games. They will play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday (average price $135), the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday ($141) and the Islanders on Tuesday ($102).
