VIDEO: Nicklas Backstrom's Game-Winning Goal Beats The Bruins

We ask you, is there anything better than an overtime goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs? Actually, there is: an overtime goal on the road in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Take the video of Nicklas Backstrom's game-winner in double overtime against the Boston Bruins, which is after the jump. Listen to the initial gasp of despair, followed by the silence of most of a crowd of 17,565 minus a few screaming Capitals fans. Mike Emrick's "He Scores!!!" call becomes 83 percent more dulcet. Pierre McGuire's "How Swede it is!" crack stops being an annoying throwaway line that makes your blood pressure rise and becomes tomorrow's back page headline.

Best of all, of course, is the celebration by Backstrom himself, along with his teammates, proving that your mother was right all those years ago: success really is the best revenge.
