Tim Thomas was smiling when he did it, but he shut down the group media session all the same #BruinsTalk

Thomas, you will recall, skipped Boston's traditional visit to the White House, much to the chagrin of the organization, back in January. He then issued an ... ahem ... interesting statement on his Facebook page and has steadfastly refused to answer questions about it ever since.
We're of two minds about this. One the one hand, Thomas has a right to skip the White House visit, a right to issue that statement, and the right to not take any more questions about it. But breaking up media sessions whenever the issue comes up seems a little heavy-handed. C'mon, Timmy, you gotta take a tip from the master.
As a side note, if President Obama ever wants to pop down to Verizon Center for one of games 3 or 4 and sit behind the Boston net for the first and third period ... well, we're pretty sure the Caps won't say no.
