Highlighting the Capitals schedule is a home opener against the Eastern Conference champion New Jersey Devils on Friday, October 12. On Sunday, February 3 the Capitals will face the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings for the first time at home and again on Friday, February 15 in Los Angeles.

The season finishes for the Capitals at home against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, April 13. The entire schedule for the Capitals and the rest of the NHL can be found on NHL.com.
