Those of you who still collect baseball cards will be happy to know that Bryce Harper has signed an exclusive contract with Topps for all autographs and memorabilia. It's a big day for Harper, who debuts tonight in the Arizona Fall League. Topps also has the same exclusive deal with Stephen Strasburg and the company can only hope that Harper's first year in the majors will have a happier ending than the Nats pitching phenom.

There is no word yet on whether the company will release a insanely limited edition card, much like Strasburg's 2010 Bowman Chrome Superfractor card, which went for over $15,000. Personally, I plan to to buy all the Harper merchandise that I can, and put it in a safety deposit box next to all my Todd Van Poppel rookie cards.
