7:00, MASN2: Phillies vs. Nationals. For the first time this month, Jim Riggleman can use his younger, inexperienced players however he wishes and not have a guilty conscience about influencing the playoff race.

↵

7:00, MASN: Rays vs. Orioles. David Price takes the mound tonight for Tampa. Like Stephen Strasburg, Price was taken with the first pick in the MLB Draft and has unlimited potential. Unlike Strasburg, you can actually watch him tonight.

Documentaries

8:00, PBS: Baseball: The Tenth Inning. Ken Burns adds a new chapter to his epic baseball documentary tonight, 16 years after the original series began. As you would expect, the new installment will cover 1994 to the present. You may want to have several sheets of paper ready if you plan on tallying every mention of the word "steroids" during the broadcast tonight.

8:00, ESPN: Into The Wind. Poor Steve Nash. Always one to be dealt a bad hand in the playoffs, now his documentary has to go head to head against Ken Burns. That's rough. Granted, I'm sure the film will still pull good ratings -- It is on ESPN after all -- but they won't be as nice as they would if this was airing next week.
