Nationals Games Will Be Broadcasted On 106.7 The Fan Next Year

It looks like the Washington Nationals will be switching their flagship radio station to 106.7 The Fan. According to a report by Mark Zuckerman, the team has an oral agreement in place with the station to move its games there while keeping games on WFED 1500 AM as an affiliate. The deal is still pending approval by Nationals ownership, but will get the team's games to a broader listener base than before.

The unique arrangement is taking place so that the Nationals can still maintain their AM listenership. CBS, which owns 106.7 The Fan, only has one AM station in the area (1580), and it has a limited reach.

Announcers Charlie Slowes and Dave Jageler are still expected to return next season.
