Despite the money that was thrown at Jayson Werth this offseason, expectations for the Nationals are relatively low. The rotation is in shambles, the defense will again be suspect and the offense figures to be sporadic at best. But there is one sign of hope:

↵Is a team's Spring Training record a legitimate indicator of their success for the upcoming season? Of course not, though it helps. But when it doesn't look like the team is going to be very good again this year, we'll certainly take it.
