Well, this is bad news for the fledging rap career of "Fly Eli Fly," otherwise known as former Washington Nationals outfielder Elijah Dukes. The troubled former player was arrested Wednesday for allegedly slapping his pregnant ex-girlfriend during an argument.
↵↵↵↵↵↵Mountrail Mounshay Mack, 20, told deputies that she and Dukes, 26, spent the past several days in motels. On Wednesday, deputies responded to the East Lake Inn Motel, 6539 Hillsborough Ave. E, where Mack said Dukes slapped her several times in the face during an argument.

Dukes fled to his mother's house after the incident, where he was arrested. He also apparently has warrants on two other charges: contempt of court and driving with a suspended license. Previously, he had been arrested on a separate contempt of court charge and for failing to appear for a child support hearing.
↵So this is all bad news. On the bright side, "Fly Eli Fly" now has more "hardships" to rap about.
