The Washington Nationals were mentioned on the Colbert Report on Tuesday night, while host Stephen Colbert was taking cracks at the Pittsburgh Pirates and what looked to be a drunken Bucs fan completely immune to police clubs and tasers. Colbert then mentioned the crowd control device called the "Taser Shockwave," which takes out multiple targets in compacted groups all at once (sounds like such a delightful device).

Here is where the Nationals help deliver the punch line:

"Even better, the Shockwave is modular and can be stacked in groups of 18 or more which means when the Pirates play the Nationals you can take out the whole crowd. (Shows picture of Monday night crowd at PNC Park). There it is, there is the whole crowd. As you can see not many people showed up to the game."

Ouch. It would be hilarious if indeed it wasn't so sad. Video of the clip is here. The Nationals' dig is at the 4:20 mark.
