Nationals Vs. Braves Score: Nationals Brutalizing Braves 7-1

Tuesday night's game is in the sixth-inning and the Washington Nationals have jumped on top of the Atlanta Braves 7-1. The Nationals have discovered their long ball again and two home runs from two different players have helped Washington get on top and stay on top.

In fourth-inning Nationals outfielder Laynce delivered a three-run bomb off Atlanta pitcher Tim Hudson scoring Adam LaRoche and Wilson Ramos. Then Roger Bernadina and Jerry Hairston Jr. scored on a fifth-inning three run homer from right fielder Jayson Werth. Werth also had the other Nationals run back in the first inning when Werth grounded into a double play, but Bernadina was able to score.

The Braves have collected two errors on the night and the Nationals have taken full advantage. Hudson, usually dominant, seems to be having a rough time wrangling in the Nationals while Jason Marquis has pitched magnificently giving up only three hits, two walks, striking out one and only giving up one run off a Martin Prado home run in the fourth.
