It took a couple months, but finally, Bryce Harper's trademark cockiness manifested itself with something in a professional baseball game. CSN Washington caught video of Harper bashing his 14th home run of his Hagerstown Suns tenure on Monday night. It also caught Harper blowing a kiss at Zachary Neal, the pitcher on the Greensboro Grasshoppers as he rounded third base and headed for home.
↵You have to put the video in super slow motion to see it, but it's definitely there. Harper, of course, has a reputation for these kinds of things, but for the most part, he's been pretty tame thus far in his brief professional career. Obviously, that has changed.
↵It also remains to be seen on whether this upstaged Wilson Ramos controversial home-run trot at the end of the Nationals-Diamondbacks game on Sunday. Given the choice between an air kiss and a slow trot, I'm choosing the air kiss every time.
