Nearly everyone has weighed in on Bryce Harper's Kiss Heard Around The World at this point, so we're beating a dead horse at this point. Still, as we've discussed here before, the Orioles-Nationals rivalry needs something to spice it up. Maybe these comments from new Orioles draft pick Dylan Bundy can stroke the flames.
↵Bundy, a pitcher whom the Orioles selected No. 4 overall in the 2011 MLB Draft, was asked about Harper's kiss in an interview with Steve Davis on 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore. Here's Bundy's response, via Nats Enquirer.
↵↵↵↵↵Davis: "So Dylan I'll ask you the question: if you were facing Bryce Harper in the next game or you were the next pitcher to face him, what happens to Bryce Harper?"
↵
Dylan: "Well if I was pitching the next game I'd hit him all four at bats."
Bundy's brother Bobby, who was drafted by the Orioles in 2008, was also in on the interview. When asked about Harper, Bobby Bundy said "the kid can't do that." The fact that Bobby Bundy, who is 21 years old, is calling Bryce Harper a "kid" is hilarious.
